subhrajit, affectionately known to his friends as 'bodo', is based in calcutta, india.

after doing his honours graduation in mathematics from calcutta university, subhrajit studied law in delhi university and joined the family profession.

inspired by his elder brother, subhrajit took up photography as a hobby in 2003 and started photographing the people and their culture in his city and beyond and somewhere down the line, he got hooked into photography forever. in early 2006, subhrajit studied photography briefly at escola de arte, ourense, galicia, spain.

subhrajit's interest mainly lies in human interest photography. to him, photography is the medium to express his innermost feelings about the world that surrounds him.
